A total of 113 new factories were registered in Myagdi district in the fiscal year 2071/072 BS.
The Cottage and Small Industry Development Committee, Myagdi, said that Rs 84.2 million was invested in the new factories while 320 persons were provided with employment opportunities. And the total number of factories registered in the district has crossed 970.
So far, the entrepreneurs have invested more than Rs 470 million for the operation of small-scale industries in Myagdi.
The portion of investment is more in vegetable farming, fruit farming, animal husbandry and poultry farm among others. Likewise, hotels and restaurants, furniture factories have also increased, resulting in good investments.
Likewise, altogether 131 commercial enterprises were registered in the district during the last fiscal year. With the new commercial ventures, the total investment in the sector has reached Rs 378.5 million in the district.
Similarly, the district collected Rs 3 million in revenue from the new registration and renewal of the industries and business enterprises in the fiscal year 2071/072 BS. The amount is two-fold more compared to the previous year.
