Brief Introduction of MONA
Myagdi overseas Nepalese Association (MONA) is non-profit and non-political organization which is established with two major objectives
1. It will focus its energy to integrate people of Myagdi dispersed all over the world. &
2. It will use its resources for the economic development and social transformation of the district.
Since its birth in October 2009, the organization has been able to expand its branches in 16 countries and the expansion is being taking place in other countries as well.
We strongly hope that Myagdi will be transformed into well planned and well developed district of Nepal.

नेपाल एक स्वतन्त्र राष्ट्र हो त्यस देशका हामी सच्चा नागरिक पनि हौ । भौगोलीक हिसावले हामी विश्वका महान शक्तिशाली सबल र सक्षम राष्ट्रहरुको बिचमा रहेरपनि विकासको कुनै गति समाउन नसक्नु हाम्रो विडम्वना हो । यसलाई हामीले सहि उपयोग गर्न नसक्नु हामीमा चेतनाको कमी रहेको उदाहरण हो । अवश्य पनि हाम्रा सोचहरु उच्च छन् यी सोचहरुलाई सही ठाउमा उपयोग गर्न जरुरी छ । हामीले हाम्रा प्राकृतिक, सामाजीक ,धार्मीक परिबेषहरुलाई बिश्वसामु पुराउन नसक्नु र लगानीकर्ताहरुलाई ब्यवस्थित बनाउन नसक्नु राष्ट्रिय नेतृत्वको कमजोरी देखिन आउछ । सत्य यो पनि होकि हामी जब सम्म प्रत्यक्ष रुपमा कुनै पनि क्रियाकलापहरु देख्दैनौ तब सम्म हामीमा सो सम्बन्धी ज्ञानको उदय नहुन सक्छ । तर जब हामी प्रत्यक्ष रुपमा ति क्रियाकलाप र समाज भित्र घुल्न पुग्दछौ तब मात्र हामीलाई ति सबै परिदृष्यहरुले चारैतिरबाट देशप्रेमले ओतप्रोत भएको भान हुन्छ अनी मात्र हामी जस्ता देश भक्त नेपालीको आत्मैदेखी मातृभुमिकोलागी केहि गर्नु पर्छ भन्ने सोचहरु प्रस्फुटन हुने गर्दछन । हो हामी जस्ता कयौ देशप्रेमी नेपालीहरु आज कामको खोजीमा संसारका कुनाकुनामा छरिएर रहेको अवस्था सबै माझ र्छलङग छ चाहे त्यो खाडिको मरुभुमिमा होस या यूरोप र अमेरीका जस्ता बिकशित मुलुकमा नै किन नहोस अनेकौ दुख सुख, बिभिन्न कष्ट ब्यबधानको सामना गरेर परिवारिक जिवीकोपार्जन गरिरहेको स्थिति छ, तसर्थ यस्तो यर्थाथ अवश्थामा हामीले  ढिला नगरी मातृभुमिको बिद्यमान अवसर र चुनौतिहरुलाई सहि पहिचान गरि अघि प्रमुख एजेण्डा बनाई देश निर्माण का निम्ति आ–आफ्नो ज्ञान शिप र अनुभवहरुको उपयोग गरि सम्मुनत देश बनाउनु पर्ने अवश्था सिर्जना भैसकेको छ यसको सुरुवाति अवस्था म्याग्दी प्रवासी नेपाली संघ मोनाले गरिरहेको छ ।

Who We Are?

Myagdi overseas Nepalese Association (MONA) was established with the purpose of uniting and binding the Nepali Diaspora under one umbrella on first global conferences. In the course of completing years of its existence MONA has developed into a non-governmental organization and a network of Nepali origin by establishingMyagdi overseas Nepalese Association in 16 countries to represent its interests, concerns and commitments. We rejoice in the achievement of our beloved country and her people and are disheartened by their sufferings and failures. Our belief: “HamromyagdiRamromyagdi”, is reinforced by our commitment to streamline our energy and resources for the transformation of the Nepali society. It is the duty and responsibility of every nation to promote, represent and safe guard the welfare of its nationals or people of its origin having foreign nationality and this will ultimately be in the interest of the nation. The national interest that can be fulfilled by the Diasporas has not been hidden from the international arenas.
